The Two Sides (2007): What Can I Do To Cure This Evil?

Story
The origins of this song is located at the beginning of all the progress. Which means, it was the first song I made for the album.

However, its creation was very simple, and required no logic at all. Those just were some loops being dragged and dropped, and the simple lyrics arrived.

The very first take of the song - the first thing, therefore, I recorded at all - can be found in the "A few words" bonus disc. Take 2 was the master.

Concept
After being an insect ("Involuntary Suicide"), the protagonist has many lives, until there's a moment that he can't go to the afterlife, and remains as a ghost. This song tells this part of his journey.

Lyrics

So I am there,
Standing, I am fresh
Nobody sees me,
Even though I'm in the flesh

So I look the room,
Watching everyone
Can you see me? Can you hear me?
No, because I died

I was killed yesterday
One guy pointed at me, bang, i'm dead
I had pain, a lot of it, yeah
However, I'm here, still as a man

And you may ask,
How I did survive?
Well there's a question I wouldn't ask
For a while

What can I do to cure this evil? What can I do for me?
What can you do to split this zero percentage of caring about him?

What can I do to cure this evil? What can I do for me?
What can you do to split this zero percentage of caring about him?
What can I do to cure this evil? What can I do for me?
What can you do to split this zero percentage of caring about him?
What can I do to cure this evil? What can I do for me?
What can you do to split this zero percentage of caring about him?
What can I do to cure this evil? What can I do for me?
What can you do to split this zero percentage of caring about him?

Oh, oh, oh, what can I do,
oh, to cure this evil?

Tecnical stuff
