Story
Afterlife Experiences is one of the most important songs of the original album - not only it mentions life and death, but it actually gives a positive light about both of them.
Given this fact, it was impossible to pass this song. However, it was very difficult to remake it, since my attention was caught on the other songs, as well as the new songs. And I always thought that the master take of the original disc was very good.
So how to remake something like this?
Basically, I combined two versions of the song. I took the master take from the disc and combined it with take 2 of the song - found in A Few Words-, to create this new version. Both combined, it sounded pretty good.
Since the lyrics were somewhat different in both versions, the master take contains more volume, so its lyrics can be heard.
Concept
Our protagonist has a new life, and while investigating the Hollow Earth theory, the Death appears and says that, once again, his time is up. He travels to the afterlife, which he finds to be rather pleasing. Before being judged again, the speaks with Death again before he goes to kill some more people.
