Story
In the whole process of remaking this disc, The Two Sides, something unexpected happened: my girlfriend of 4 years suddenly broke up with me, leaving me with my heart shattered.
Because of this, remaking this disc took longer than it should (I started in 2011, finished the next year). I suddenly found myself writing a song about her, about how much I missed her, and wanted to be with her. I recorded the first take, with a depressed voice. Later, we almost got back together, so I recorded this song again, with two vocals now, and much more happy. This is the take that appears on the disc.
In the end, we didn't get back together, so I went into a depression era again, until a little later, in which I fell in love again, making me happy again. That may be the reason I don't listen to this song very much.
Concept
Because of the song's backstory, it was difficult to put it somewhere in the disc's concept. However, it could fit somewhere.
Since "Involuntary suicide" is about the protagonist who kills himself because of a broken heart, I decided to put this song prior to "Involuntary suicide", to explain this impossible love.
So, in his various lives era, he had a life in which he loved, was hurt... and then committed suicide.
To attach the song to the whole "The 2 sides", I inserted the line, "Alive again" to the beginning, since it's a new life, after he killed himself in "Nothing's being made". In the same vein, since he will commit suicide later, I added the last line, "Another life comes, another life goes".
